Some people had commented on my other version of el chavo being too sad. I get it, it's not how we want to see el chavo, so I'm offering an alternative version of it.
We grew up with all these characters, la chilindrina, quico, don ramon, doña clotilde, and many more.
This character resonated with many of us as children because maybe it was the fact that even someone who is at their lowest, can find the best in things, and make the most of what life has given.
Don't get me wrong, I HATE romanticizing poverty, but el chavo was a sanctuary when all else was failing. It was something to look forward to.
Which version do you like most?
